Key Responsibilities:
• Create dashboards & reports for business teams to track performance in excel &/or Power BI &/or Adobe Data
Work Bench
• Study and analyze existing business trends and provide insights to improve or optimize business efforts
• Communicate business results or interpretations across stake-holders in different functions
• Support new product launch initiatives and/or campaign using data led insights
• Measure impact of existing and new campaigns to optimize investment and maximize returns
• Leverage various information systems to understand customer propensities and derive/refine business
strategy or business tactics
• Understand data requirement with minimum supervision and / or minimal brief from person requesting
• Deliver ad-hoc requirements with short turn-around times and / or under frequent change of understanding

Databases / systems to be used: Oracle, MS SQL, MySQL, NoSQL, Adobe Data Work Bench

Skills to be used: Data extraction & preparation, slicing, visualisation, summarisation, interpretation

Internal interactions: Marketing, Air Partnerships, Non-Air Partnerships, Vendor partners

External interactions: Limited interaction with JP’s partners in a supervised / managed environment

Team Management / Informal Mentoring opportunities: Team Management – not in first 2 years; Mentoring - Yes

Qualifications & Requirements:
• Post Graduate in any quantitative discipline or Graduate / Post Graduate with Engineering degree
o Good data extraction &/or programming skills (SQL with SAS / R / Python) with minimum 3 years of
professional experience

• Non-quantitative background: Graduate / post graduate in any discipline
o Good data extraction &/or programming skills (SQL with SAS / R / Python) with minimum 4 years of
professional experience

• Hands-on experience in using SQL on relational databases (Oracle / MS SQL / My SQL)
• Hands-on experience in creating reports in Excel and Power BI / Tableau
• Basic knowledge of Power Pivots / DAX in Excel / M language for Excel
• Understanding of descriptive statistics / business statistics
• Experience in handling large data, creating reports, doing quality checks and generating business insights
• Attention to detail, effective articulation & communication skills
• Keen to learn new methods, skills to improve technical knowledge

Good to have:
o custom visual creation ability using d3.js framework or using visualisation packages of R / python
o experience of working with data stored in S3, Azure etc.
o coding skills in VisualBasic
