Role Summary:

ConcertAI is looking for Senior Data Scientist with a passion for artificial intelligence and machine learning to help drive a new generation of AI and machine learning-enabled services and products to improve minority participation in clinical trials.  You will enjoy working with a highly talented and diverse team of Machine Learning Engineers and Data Scientists specializing in deep and machine learning, mathematics, and statistics,  and will have the opportunity to work with one of the richest data sets available to assist with clinical research.

You should have a diverse range of skills focusing on data analysis, statistics/math, coding, ML skills, and some background in health sciences.  You will be responsible for data exploration, analysis, and the development of research tools to help increase minority participation in clinical trials in oncology using ConcertAI’s RWD and other data sources. You will collaborate with clients, the clinical operations team, data scientists, product and software engineers on prototyping and implementing tools to increase racial minority enrollment. This role reports to the Vice President of AI.  

Min. Qualification:

Requirements:

• Strong clinical knowledge in oncology and familiarity with analytics using electronic medical records and Claims is highly desired.
• Familiarity with tools for genomics related analysis and medical taxonomies is highly desired.
• Knowledge of statistical techniques (hypothesis testing, survival analysis, linear and logistic regression, evaluation metrics, etc) is a must.
• Expert level knowledge in machine learning algorithms (XGBoost, Linear and Logistic regression, SVM, Random Forest, Bayesian methods, Unsupervised learning, Ensemble Models) is a must.
• Expertise in the Python Data Science Stack is required (Pandas, Numpy, Scikit Learn, Keras)
• Expertise in data analysis and descriptive modeling is a must.
• Expertise in predictive modeling techniques
• Familiarity with Cloud deployment (AWS, Azure, GCP) & Docker, Kubernetes.
• Demonstrated expertise via Kaggle or other competitions, and/or high-quality publications.
• Ability to easily work with Domain experts.
• Familiarity with cloud systems (AWS) is desired.
• Bachelors, Masters or Ph.D. in bioinformatics, clinical informatics, or related areas.
• Strong communication skills and a team player.
• 5+ years’ experience in the industry.

Roles:

Responsibilities            

• Work with client and internal data science, outcome research, eurekaHealth solutions team to help increase minority participation in clinical trials utilizing ConcertAI’s RWD and technologies, as well as other data sources.
• Identify key drivers which hinder racial minority enrollment in clinical trials by leveraging ConcertAI RWD but also identify data source which help to understand the problem more holistically.
• Develop and implement algorithms, tools, and data science solutions using ConcertAI’s RWD data to address to increase racial minority clinical trial enrollment.
  Collaborate on software projects with engineers, providing analytical guidance and contributing to codebase.
• Access and communicate with internal stakeholders as needed to support client aims and data questions, including Data Science, Data Products, Data Curation, and other relevant areas.
