Key Responsibilities:
- Leverage various information systems to understand customer behaviour, conduct predictive analytics and derive/refine business strategy or business tactics
- Study and analyse existing business trends and provide insights to improve or optimize business efforts
- Create insights & reports for business teams to track performance in excel &/or Power BI
- Communicate business results or interpretations across stake-holders in different functions
- Support new product launch initiatives and/or campaign using data led insights
- Measure impact of existing and new campaigns to optimize investment and maximize returns
- Understand analytical requirement with minimum supervision and / or minimal brief from business
- Deliver ad-hoc requirements with short turn-around times and / or under frequent change of understanding
Databases / systems to be used: Excel, R/Python/SQL
Skills to be used: Conduct analyses and build insights, prepare excel based models, create visualizations for analysis if required, work directly with 9W stakeholders to enable effective decision making, prepare recommendations to address client needs
Team Management / Informal Mentoring opportunities: Team Management – not in first 2 years; Mentoring - Yes
Qualifications & Requirements:
- Attention to detail, effective articulation & communication skills; keen to learn new methods/skills to improve technical knowledge
- Good to have: Coding skills in VBA and basic understanding of the airlines industry.
